We are talking about WKU, right? He's talking like Western is a SEC school and not a C-USA school on the level of ODU or Marshall. Good teams, no doubt, but this in-state reverence for WKU by player and coach is weird.

TBF they did land a pretty highly ranked C/F who Cozart will have to sit behind.

I had the pleasure of sitting near Rowley's parents at the open practice and one of the statements that they made about how all of the kids coming in as freshman are stars on the teams that they have played with previously and most, if not all expect to start as freshman, it is a hard adjustment to college where their status is generally learning for the first year or two as understudies as well as the increased speed and physicality of the college game.

My guess is that Mr. Cozart is either a victim of this typical freshman thought pattern or is not expecting the guy ahead of him to last more than a year or two before turning pro and he will then move up. He may be a potential transfer candidate down the road.

The other thing that was mentioned earlier is sometime it just comes down to location and proximity to home.
