I agree, I like Rode. We tried to get him and it just didn't happen.

I like Cozart a lot. He is a tad raw offensively, but he just oozes physicality and effort. He is physical posting and defending the post and attacks the ball for blocked shots and rebounds. He reminds me a little of UNCWs Cacock with the potential to out athletic bigs at the CAA level. He is very different than most bigs we recruit here, ie- offensively skilled stretch 4 types that are under weight. Cozart is a defensively skilled post that runs the floor and is willing to do the dirty work. I don't think it is a stretch to say Cozart could be the best post defender on the team as a freshman.

I would be mighty pleased if we were able to get a commitment out of him. Short of Roddy and Beran, Brown & Cozart would make as good an incoming class as one could hope. Both able to add depth, continue the defensive emphasis, and play meaningful minutes as freshmen.
