Interesting choice to redshirt a year at Charlotte, rather than play a year with a loaded postgrad roster against a very competitive schedule. Never know if Vermont Academy was totally covering his bill or only partially. His dad only on a HS coach's income would have made it just as much a financial decision. It does set him up to do a grad transfer year when the time comes. Just glad he's not going to Hofstra.
