I can't imagine we are involved anymore with Bertram, but, also, puzzling that we are following so many other guards/wings without any offers. Again, unless there is a mutual understanding with Bertram after the July period plays out, but it seems we would have offered outright.

Appears like the staff wants to hold it's options for the second scholarship for maximum benefit, since we have no near term needs for guards/wings. Assume two big commits, a non-big that we just can't pass on (Bertram), or a transfer, would be the intended use. Richard Washington has not latched on anywhere and it's late in the transfer game. Nate Sestina will probably be available as a grad transfer next season, since Bucknell frowns on a 5th year, but that would sure be an embarassment of front court riches, unless Nathan leaves early.

Can't imagine Roddy has us in his sights, but to get one of the three current offers, much less two, would be a successful recruiting season. The current three offers are all hybrid bigs who I would think do not want to be locked into being used solely as a true post, if they aspire to play beyond college.

Just glad we're not having to fill five slots again.
