ULL's product is so great that ESPN decided to air the same number of games as they did versus other Belt teams. And they decided 'nah' ULL-Boise...we're not covering that.

I operate under the position that the ESPN Bowls should be placed in a tier and the top 3 teams should be guaranteed a spot in our most prominent bowls. Our top 3 teams aren't unwatchable. The league, by its tolerance of this situation, implies that. And if the league says our best teams really aren't legitimate, then that's a problem too. Part of the way to get respect, is to treat yourselves like you deserve respect. Finishing in the top of the conference is something that deserves respect.

ULL is operating under the position that they should have one of only 3 ESPN bowls in perpetuity, every time they cobble together 6 wins.

Under my proposal, USA would NOT be in New Orleans this year. It would have been Troy, App, or stAte.

You're right, Tucson is exactly where you belong this year.

This year, it WOULD have been Troy, App or stAte. If USA had beaten ULL, and literally every single other thing remained exactly the same, that would be the case.

Once more: If USA beats UL back in September, this is a non-issue. The only one to "blame" here is USA.

And we shouldn't have lost to ULL. But we did. But understand, this isn't about USA being in Tucson this year. We're where we belong this year.

Again, this isn't about this year. But about going forward. You guys aren't seeing the picture here. I've never said we deserve to be anywhere else. But there's a problem here. And can impact you too. Had the Camellia Bowl chosen stAte (or even USA), you'd be playing on the CBSSN. Not a lot of exposure there. Most people don't even know where that is on their cable package. Better than nothing, but as a conference champion, that's pretty crummy.

And we know that there was no 'deal' worked out by the conference before the bowls selected to sort this out either. Ark State was going to Tucson (which would have been no one's pick) until someone intervened. That's even worse. The conference can't even see a potential rob job on their champions to take place until - literally - the last hour of bowl selection?

Why wait for this situation, which is clearly visible, to bite you guys on the rear end. Lets just fix it now. Top 3 teams get the ESPN Bowls. Bowls pick in rotating order.

No, we have our champion playing in the 5th rated bowl but you want them to go play a 6-6 USM? UCF is 6-6 and that game is on CBSSN, a network most people don't even know exists.

They are in the highest rated G5 and stAte got smashed by that lowly cusa team last year which isn't a good look...in new orleans. StAte and USM have played 11 times in histiry not 51 times like we have. Keep moving the post tom, Its like kicking extra points at practice with you.
