The system should be fixed. Put all ESPN Bowls in a tier. Top three teams go to ESPN Bowls. Bowls get to pick within the top three in rotating order.

ESPN didn't get involved until the conference HAD to act to protect their conference champions. You think ESPN really cared who played on CBSSN in Orlando versus the Tucson internet bowl?

I'm sure ESPN would have walked away from App or Ark State playing in that game...How many times did you play on ESPN this year? 3 times (App, at Georgia, at Georgia Southern). USA? (@Miss State, SDSU, and Troy). App? (@Tenn, Miami, ULL)...stAte? 4 times. If they love you guys and couldn't stand the prospect of having ULL in that bowl game......they sure don't seem to show it during the regular season.

Congrats on your 3 ESPN games. You showed em by losing 0-24 at home to App. Great game. Sure that was 'must see TV'. Way to get up there for the big game and show em what you got.

I suppose Boise State would have merited ESPN on another weekend. But its for the best few people saw that debacle.
