Actually 2 Bowls wont take us, even at 11-1 and a conference champion. The DG and NO Bowl (if ULL is a 6-6 team). If you think ESPN acted on its own...you're nuts.

The hypocrisy of ULL is staggering. You've got your little entitlement, that exists at the detriment of every other team in the league. Its time to put some constraints on it.

My fixation is not on the NO Bowl, but rather on a system where the rules appear to work one way for ULL and not for USA. Enjoy your bowl game in New Orleans. Hopefully you'll win it (for your second FBS OOC win in three years).

So what's the criteria for bowl selection. Should the league intervene against USA to protect a 6-6 ULL team getting to pick their bowl slot as the FIFTH place team.

Uh, for ULL it isn't a privilege...its a undeserved entitlement.

If something is unfair, and I suspect you know the rules as applied to USA and ULL are unfair, then its perfectly acceptable to complain and to try to fix the system. We're not letting you keep your undeserved entitlement to first pick of a bowl game in perpetuity without standing up against it.

"I've got mine, you have a different and harder set of rules, and there's largely no way for you to get to an equal playing field. You should stop whining about it and accept permenent 'second tier' status in the Sun Belt that isn't based on any metric that applies to us" is the ULL attitude I see.

Your entitlement HURTS everyone else in the league. Unless you're winning it (and largely, you're not). The other 9 members of the league would be better off if the NO Bowl wasn't a tie in to the league. Because then we could get a fifth tie in we can actually play in.

You label it an "undeserved" entitlement. I would say its an "earned" entitlement based upon our fanbase's support of that bowl for 4 straight years. Enough with the "woe is me!" Geez!
