We aren't going anywhere, what do you think will happen after we make mobile a mountain of cash on a bowl trip? You gonna strong arm them and kick em to the curb? Instead of striving to mimic our numbers for New Orleans you rather degrade them and "make it more fair" for others...I clearly see how you think and we won't ever agree on your idea of redistributing wealth, because that's exactly what this is...we have something you don't and instead of figuring out a way to get it you want to force it on people and change the rules tinhave it given to you instead of coming take it. Seriously it's been fun, enjoy your miserable life.

How do we 'mimic' your numbers in Tucson? Or in Orlando? Montgomery's stadium doesn't even fit all of our fans. We sold that stadium out.

It is a zero sum game with the bowl tie ins. One team 'wins' at the expense of another. There's not an unlimited amount of bowl slots.

You are confusing an open market with a monopoly.
No tom, you're confused

About what? That ULL's attitude was that, since they have incumbency with the NO Bowl, that the rest of the Belt should just have 4 slots, 2 of which are clearly inferior allocated to the other teams in the league?

Regardless of merit on the field. Attendance is a game for losers. USA vs USM would sell as many tickets as ULL vs USM. App vs USM, perhaps less. But at some point, there's got to be some sort of method to break through the 'only ULL can bring fans to the NO Bowl BS. Because while I understand why we got Montgomery and Tucson for our two bowls, I seriously doubt that we'd be anywhere else had we finished where Troy did this year.

Easy enough to fix. Win the conference and you get to pick where you go. Tell the other bowls that 2 out of 5 years, you can pick who you want, but you can't have a NON-Conference champion any more than 2 out of 5 years. If ULL wins 3 conference championships in 5 yeras, they can go 5 years in a row, if the bowl and the team desires.

But no, the conference shouldn't tolerate a fixable problem where over half the conference is likely locked into a lower number of bowls with lesser desirability.

Did you look at the attendance figures posted earlier with Southern Miss as a participant?

We've never played each other. We'd draw well against each other. We did sell out the (admittedly tiny) Montgomery Bowl. There's a local rivalry. I'd argue that USM would be a bigger rivalry game for USA than Troy. That game was the second highest attended game in Sun Belt conference history.
