FYE 12/31/11 $1,866,297 in ticket sales
FYE 12/31/12 $2,069,450 in ticket sales
FYE 12/31/13 $2,190,757 in ticket sales
FYE 6/30/15 $1,294,640 in ticket sales

That's $7.4MM in ticket sales for the 4 games involving the Cajuns.
The previous 10 NOB games had a combined $8.4MM in ticket sales.

Here are the numbers the Sun Belt should be caring about

stAte going to Orlando
App going to Montgomery for the second year in a row
USA going to Arizona

I'd bet that USA in a bowl in NO or Mobile would draw a big crowd too. But we're barred from going to those bowls. Because Mobile won't take us and the NO Bowl takes ULL, regardless of how many other teams deserve to go.

App will probably have a down attendance year this year...because they're playing in a lesser bowl in the same place, for the second straight year. Then voila! ULL will bring up USA's gate in Tucson or Apps in Montgomery to argue that they deserve a special slot in New Orleans in perpetuity.
