Siddle beat out some pretty heavy competition on this one. The conversation about size, too many guards, etc. is identical to the conversation on the JMU board. Check it out. Apparently Byington is a four guard offense guy as well.

I seriously can't wait to see us at full roster, full play, no shutdowns and a full summer of practice next year. The players we have on the roster should be able to press hard, score in transition, and run a "havoc" type game like we all hoped for with Siddle.

I’m excited for it and I don’t mind a four guard system at all. I do agree with Gary though, that the remaining two open scholarships should be used for players we can implement at the 5 to compliment the four guards. Additionally, I’m give RT glad to land a guy with his skill and potential, now can we keep him? In a very different NCAA transfer landscape, that will be the big time take away from this for me. Let’s utilize him well and convince him to finish here.

I haven’t paid attention much to Oglesby in the portal. Great to beat out Texas. Who else did we beat to land him?
