It's all about the system. Small ball can work, especially at the mid major level. C.B. never adjusted his system to the roster this past season, which is why we looked so overmatched down low at times. We do need another player for our frontcourt. However, I still have hopes for Steere being eligible immediately. Either by waiver or the NCAA Division 1 Councils upcoming vote to allow a one time transfer. Right now the last scholarship should be going to a Grad Transfer that can give us quality frontcourt minutes. Hopefully someone that can rebound well.

Exactly. If Siddle replicates the Keatts model(why wouldn't he?), he looks for top level scoring ability first, regardless of size, then he uses full court pressure to limit time in a half court defense to cover up for the lack of size. Scoring matters most in his system because we can press off made buckets and we won't be strong on the boards. Cacok was the perfect big for Keatts because he owned the boards.
