A visit is more than just showing them the campus. You can really sell the city and style of life. Take them out to dinner, introduce them to the team and give them a really good feel for what the culture is. Yes, technology can help in these times but it will never be the same as him coming in person. I'm not using it as an excuse, every school is battling it right now. It's just the reality of the situation we're in. I don't know what happened with Teel's recruitment, but he's a very good player and will dominate the D2 level. If we didn't have Carr in the bag, I'd be very concerned... or like you said we lost him to JMU. We cannot lose in-state recruits to Byington and JMU.
