He was a freshman in 2018-19 and he played 1 game for NCST in 2018 before deciding to to transfer for the Spring semester.

In the '19-20 season the NCAA denied his appeal to allow him to play the first semester of 2019 at SJU, so his first game was on December 18th.

Kid has played in 6 games and a total of 26 minutes entering his junior season. I'm not sure how the Relief Waiver works or if the NCAA has been consistent enough to know the likelihood of it being granted. I think getting closer to home could work is in favor, but transferring twice in less than two years may work against him.

I'm not sure how the Relief Waiver works either, but I know Siddle has mentioned they need to add a big and ballhandler to next years team. I can't see them adding another big to this class unless another scholarship comes available. It's still a little early for me to feel comfortable that nobody will transfer, but it sure seems like we have a good chance of not losing anyone. Idk what the grounds were for Okauru getting his waiver granted but this seems like a similar situation minus the prior transfer.

Apples to oranges, completely different situations other than transferring closer to home.
