I'm referring to on ball contain. Foot speed. If he plays the 3 spot he'll have some tough matchups. However, he's got a good basketball IQ and excellent touch as a passer. In the PAC-12 he was primarily a floor spacer 3pt corner shooter. But he has NBA range.

Never been sold on Skaggs as a starter for us simply because I'd rather see Estime and Sims get those minutes as they have showed signs of being good 3 and D players, just need to do it on a more consistent basis. If Skaggs would be willing to accept a 6th man type role, he'd be a good fit, other than that I don't see much there to get to excited about. At this point we need the bodies and experience though.

Yep. I'm with both of you here. Need some size and that size needs to have good footwork and defensive upside.
