BVG actually changed the facemask from gray to navy blue. He also changed the helmet to a navy blue metallic....which looked awesome and really "popped" under the lights. The helmet was the best decision he made while in Statesboro (other than leaving).

I love the blue/blue look....but the white/blue look is even better. I have yet to see us win a game in the blue pants, but I've seen us lose plenty in white pants to not blame the color of our uniform.

I disagree (no surprise there). I hated what BVG did to the helmet. Prefer the old matte blue. Course, I'm not much on things that "pop" under lights.

I like the road white on white. Not a fan of blue blue or white on blue.
But I do agree BVG's best decision was to hit the flipping road.

The blue we use now is different from the matte blue even during the Sewak days. The helmet color that BVG went with was a true navy blue...it was a very deep color and the metallic flake in the paint just made it look even better at night. It did a great job of contrast with the white numbers/stripe. It wasn't crazy, and if hadn't been a total dick about everything it would have been accepted.

I like the white on blue mainly because it's a mirror image of what we wear at home. It also provides more contrast between the jerseys and pants in the uniform. I agree with people who say that our road uniforms can get a bit monotonous.
