Rivals had him as 16th best QB in 2010. ESPN had him at 91st in 2010. He could be good, but a ranking system alone might not be enough to jump on the bandwagon. Id like to see more of his stats. Nice offseason grab.

For some reason, the super high ranked players haven't seemed to work for Troy lately. We had a guy at corner a year or two ago that was the #2 corner (ESPN, #6 on Rivals) from 2011 I believe. He was second string most of the season. We had Josh Jarboe (#3 WR on ESPN from 2007 or 2008) who did little at Troy but made waves at Arkansas State.

I watched some of his highlights from CSU. Tall and a decent arm. Not very athletic and takes a lot of sacks. He has thrown more picks than TDs in all 3 seasons.

He will need an offense that allows him to mostly dink and dunk quickly with the occasional downfield throw. He reminds me so much of Adam Kennedy and Kennedy could sit in the pocket against the weaker defenses we played but he had to run the ball for us to have any success against better defenses.
