Couple that with the fact student fees are tops in the state and I also understand Ga State has the most bonds in the state as well, money is and will be tight.

Also, comparing College Town at FSU to what you guys need I am not sure is a fair comparison. FSU has 40k+ students that are mostly living on or around campus. Yes Ga State has 30k+ students but the majority of these are commuters if I am not mistaken. I just don't see the demand for a college town type atmosphere at Ga State.

LOL. Just because Ga Southern is broke doesn't mean every other state school is broke. If there's mutual interest, Ga State will get it done.

LOL we've invested over $26 million in our athletics program since the last time you finished over .500 and you can't afford to open the doors of your home stadium for a spring game. You've used $1 million from a donor that was supposed to go to your weight room to be able to afford moving to the SBC and have yet to raise the money to replace it even with ANOTHER donation toward the weight room. You've got athletics funding issues, no doubt.

Note: That statement has nothing to do with the funding you get on the other side of things of academics (you guys are doing really well there). The only way you'd get state funding for Turner Field is to put dorms or academic support type facilities there. Anything that is purely for athletics will require 100% funding.

I can't imagine the school NOT putting some dorms and classrooms in there. Lots of room to work with.

Would seem to be a natural. Even classrooms in the stadiums.
