Just a short time ago we were expanding in survival mode trying to plug holes.

Now we have more schools wanting in than spots we are willing to dole out.

We can literally add any random school of our choosing without concern over "more mouths to feed". The worst case scenario is adding someone it being revenue neutral and more likely it is revenue positive.

The only pressure we have to move is to get the boost of a new member in 2015 rather than a later date.

It's a nice place to be. No need to rush it.

There are a bunch of fans wanting their school to move? But the only University publicly stating they want to is us? Even JMU seems to be on the fence, they have the attitude, what's worse, staying FCS or getting stuck in the SB for 5 years.

Look on our board. You will see a poll that shows over 75% of JMU fans would rather be in the SBC than CAA.

Sick and tired of people saying JMU fans don't want the SBC. Cherry picking the minority doesn't make it the majority.

But you have to admit that the warmth for Sun Belt grew when my prior assertation that the Sun Belt was likely the sole path to FBS got reinforced by the MAC's move with UMass.

The knuckleheads are always going to be around, ESPECIALLY for FCS schools because the Sun Belt for years was the FCS golden measure (see, it's better to be here than there) and people are slow to catch on how the situation has changed the past decade. As my favorite saying goes, "It takes years to become an overnight success."

To be honest, the warmth probably comes from fatigue more than anything else.

JMU has been teasing an FBS moves since 2008. Lots of "underground" discussions have been had with donors, promises made, etc.

A ton of JMU fans have become disenfranchised by JMU's handling of this issue.
