RE: UL-L Turned Down Independence Bowl?
Well we do not know the truth here. One thing is certain, UL will do what is best for UL. Benson has been a friend of nobody in this league except MOANROW.

Let's say the at the Indy did have a binding offer. Might it not include as good a financial package as the NOLA Bowl? Last I checked it is not UL's responsibility to lose money for ASU, or any other team. Maybe all the decent tickets as MoanROW found out last year are owned by the local corporate sponsors. UL needs half a domed stadium not a quarter of the run down indy stadium.

Hud runs things not Farmer, unless the money difference was so extravagant as to not be reasonable for us to ignore. Last year I recall ASU starting this nonsense about what UL should do in bowl games well before the season ended. It is not OUR responsibility to make your life better, I do hope the best for ASU but not at the expense of UL.
