I think the 'A's alone will lead to confusion for a while, not really sure why they didn't go with some kind of blocked-out AAC for the conference logo....just an outsiders opinion.

I think the fact that those logos will be on fields emblazoned with American Team emblems, colors, and logos should quell all but the most intentionally ignorant confusion.
