RE: Karl Benson interview from today about realignment
I'm hoping that this, what sounds like slowing down of the process, will leave open the possibilty of EKU joining in the next couple of years. Having had a lunch meeting with someone from the Development staff last week, the administration is really high on getting EKU into FBS to increase the school's visability. Several Murray St fans keep trolling our board stating it is all ego, but in reality it is about visability.

Right now, our games are all on the internet. If we can join a FBS conference, we can potentially get games in the future on part of the ESPN family.

So, the Sun Belt knows we are interested, but not ready. We'll keep on working on facilities. I hope we can reenter the process in the next year or two.
