Also will WKU ever step up to 1-A in the future?
Rumor is Denver will be finding a new home, more regionally. Nothing official though.

Western Kentucky WILL go 1-A. It's just a matter of when. It is not an easy process. Just look at the school in Florida that jumped too quickly. Every duck has to be in a row. Right now Kentucky is having budget problems, so now isn't the time. WKU had to give back almost 6 million dollars to the state that it had already budgeted and spent half of for this fiscal year. WKU will also have lots of resistance from university of louisville and university of kentucky.

WKU is getting ready to build a new parking structure next to the stadium. WKU is building a new training facility. The facility was going to be on the other sideline (we have a onesided stadium) but now they are moving it to another site, so that they will be open to build the other side. Yet another clue. It won't be in the next 2 years probably, I am thinking 5-6 years.. but that is just me.
That would be great. If I remember right you guys already average more than FAU and FIU in attendence. A more regional conference with teams like Middle Tennessee and Arkansas State coming in to Bowling Green, alreadyan established rivalry with those hated Cajuns :D I think it would work and work well. But you are right, everything needs to be done at the right time.
There would be 2 conf. looking to pick Western up. I could bet you a hole in a donut that the MAC would put a bid in for WKU also. The HillToppers would prolly have to make a choice on which way they wanted to go.
