"The game will serve as Eastern's Senior Day, where the program will honor the 2022 Senior Class. Brandon Benson, Hassan Beydoun, Blake Bogan, Jordan Crawford, Dylan Drummond, Michael Foor, Gunnar Oakes, Taylor Powell, Jose Ramirez, Sidy Sow, Tariq Speights, Grant Trueman, Russell Vaden, and Jalen Weathers will take part in the festivities with their families."

I would assume that means the guys not listed are planning to come back. One thing that stood out to me is that Sparacio is not listed. I know Kline has another year but I thought Joe was a one and done. He graduated high school in 2018 and it looks like he didn't play that fall at BC, meaning a probable redshirt. His career break down is:

2018: True freshman
2019: RS freshman
2020: RS sophomore
2021: RS sophomore redo
2022: RS junior
2023: RS senior

So it does appear he'll be back next year, which is great! It also means that Sow is the only O-lineman that will be gone, which is obviously a huge loss but nice to have most of those guys back.

EDIT: I looked it up and Sparacio played in three games at BC as a true freshman, meaning he would have been eligible for a redshirt.

I have been on record that next year will be our best chance for CC and the Eagles to break thru the 6-6 / 7-5 record and win the MAC. Why? This season we had too many RS freshman starting on the D-Line (Price / Swindle / Evans to win it this year but bodes well for next season. I also assumed that Ramirez would be back along with the LBs to give us a top 3-4 conference front seven. Ramirez not returning would be a huge void.

My cup is half full.

Defense loses some key starters but will be strong, esp. if Ramirez returns.

The offense loses a lot (!) of starters. I mean a lot. Say 7 or 8 depending how one counts!!

We lose most of the OL and WRs + Powell. Howie is the only OL starter returning.

Dooley still has one more year left.
