EMU Football WRs
The good news if is that we have a healthy QB throwing the ball we have maybe the best starting group of WRs in the conference. My projected starting three include two former walks ons.
Dylan Drummond Sr. 6'0 190 last year 64 catches for 704 yards and 6 TDs. He seems to have been forever and he has been good forever. Also dependable on returns.
Hassan Beydoun Sr. 5'8 175 just keeps getting better each season. 97 catches last year for 1,015 for 4 TDs. Also dependable on returns although we hope we find someone else due to injury risk.
Tanner Knue Sr. 5'11 180 injured for part of the year but still had 32 catches for 342 yards and 1 TD.
Zach Westmoreland So. 6'2 200 a rising star who had 17 catches for 293 yards and 1 TD last year.
Dennis Smith Sr. 6'1 195 former P5 transfer had 4 catches for 82 yards.
I'Shawn Stewart Sr. 5'10 165 another former P5 transfer had 4 catches for 35 yards.
Dylan Summers Jr. 6'1 200 had 10 catches for 97 yards.
We have some newcomers to add to the mix:
Hamze El-Zayat Sr. 5'10 180 former FCS transfer from Fordham.
Darius Lassiter 6'3 200 JUCO who may redshirt.
Issac Smith Jr. 6'2 200 P5 transfer from Wisconsin.
Chris Gundy Fr. 5'8 160 transfer from Navy
JB Mitchell III So. 6'1 200 and Kaiden Keefe Jr. 6'2 180 are back. We have a number of walk-ons Zach Walling Jr. 6'3 210, Nick Devereaux So. 6'2 195,
Ali Abdul-Barr Fr. 6'2 200, Chase Smith Fr. 6'1 170, Quinn Fracassi Fr. 6'1 160 and Adam Rammouni Fr. 6'2 195. Who knows maybe one of these will be the next Knue or Beydoun.
It should be interesting to see how the 2 deep shakes out this August as far as the backup 3.
