Yep. Iowa, Nebraska, and Ohio State reached out during B10 COVID shutdown. PSU may have been involved as well.
Doesn't shock after they butted heads with Warren.

Its in the realm of not-realistic, but an SEC expansion with Ohio State/PSU would be better overall than the Texas/OK expansion.

Last year on another site I thew out the SEC was going to 4 team pods. They would add a northern pod of Notre Dame, Ohio State, Michigan, and Penn State, then a western pod of USC, UCLA, Oregon and Washington. Nobody bit on it. It was about the SEC adding the most desirables but keeping the divisions as close to their original conferences. So the number could be any number and not necessarily the same as the others.

Add an ACC pod of Clemson, FSU, UNC and Duke and call it a day.
