The minute Texas and Oklahoma left, so did their P5 status.

Tell that to the other 8 schools. They had no problem getting three schools in the AAC to join. They whistled and Cincy, UCF and Houston jumped in the truck, no questions asked. There is still separation from the Big12 and even the AAC.

Agree. That's a power conference.

But is there a flagship...
