I don't know how this translates to ratings...

Only three ACC schools will appear on ABC twice this year, Clemson, Miami, and ... Georgia Tech???? When did Georgia Tech become one of the most popular ACC teams? Of course playing the #1 team in the country helps.

If you only count ESPN Saturday games, Florida State leads the pack with five games. Clemson had four. Combining ABC and ESPN Saturday games, Florida State had six while Clemson had only five. Technically FSU's ABC game was a Sunday game so both Florida State and Clemson had five Saturday ABC/ESPN games. But while Florida State might be so bad they lost to an FCS team this year they still are considered one of the ACC's most valuable TV properties, at least according to ESPN.

Meanwhile, Pittsburgh made zero appearances on ABC and only one Saturday appearance on ESPN. Their Virginia game yesterday probably was ESPN worthy but was the same week as Wake Forest-Clemson. Wake Forest got at least some love from the Mouse late (Clemson on ESPN and North Carolina on ABC).

Or how about Virginia Tech? Their only ESPN game all season was the season opener vs. North Carolina on a Friday night and they didn't get any ABC games. Of course their lack of ABC/ESPN Saturday games was probably more because of their play than their popularity. They also had to get stuck with the Notre Dame ACCN game while Virginia got their Notre Dame game on ABC SNF.
