WVU I bet will be a huge rivalry within 5 years. UCF and TCU could be too. IMHO, the P5 is still alive...You guys will be so far ahead of the AAC and MWC to leave no doubt.
I've been to games at Texas Tech and TCU...TCU is really easy to get too via American Airlines. I would take in a game there first.
Great posts and thanks for sharing on Bearcat Banter.
I think Cunningham is the unsung hero in all of this and that he likes it that way. He doesn't draw attention to himself as Bohn often did. And that's not throwing Bohn under the bus; they are just totally different personalities and leadership styles.
While I believe a majority of us may have preferred the ACC, it wasn't an option in September 2021. Clemson is on an incredible run right now but if that university decided to cast their lot with the SEC, I think the Big 12 and ACC would really be a tossup in terms of football competitiveness.
I'm going to be bullish here on the new entries to the B12 and suggest they will be the emergent powers in the reconstituted conference. Specifically, I believe UC and UCF can both soar given the resources and prestige of a P5 platform. And the Big 12 wins in that scenario too, if at least two members are consistent top ten programs.
