Talking out of my arse here but there will be irreparable harm done if every conference is playing minus the MAC. That looks terrible for recruiting and even worse for the dignity of our conference financially.

Save me the “OMG ITS DANGEROUS” rhetoric. These athletes are under supervision and tested. They are safer than any of us.

At this point it's a testing/budget thing. NCAA is mandating at least daily tests for all involved. At $100/test, that adds up quick.

Not every conference is playing. The PAC & MW are still sitting. The other G5 conferences were fortunate they were able to have a money game.

Nobody is doing daily. Weekly (1x or 2x), but not daily.
