Tribe Talk
I don't particularly wish to excavate this sore point, but it is inevitable.

I'm in the process of getting a pro to gradually create bespoke high level graphics/branding for us site wide (see announcement pinned atop all forums right now). My primary goal is to eliminate any fan submitted graphics currently using trademarks. I'm not a graphic artist, I don't even pretend to be one on TV. So invariably my (somebody bad) graphic gets heavily vote defeated by a fan submitted graphic that cribs or heavily leans on the official trademarks ... because that's what fans wanna see. But before I can do some things like send out promotional stuffs to you guys like tailgating table runners / swag / flyers .... all the invalid use of the marks must go.

Which brings me to W&M. I've already processed several username change requests for W&M fans removing Tribe from their username. So let's talk about whether or not you guys are happy with Tribe Talk as the name here.

For the record ... I've got no dog in this hunt. My personal opinion on the matter is context matters. It is nothing short of impossible, for example, to try to portray the use by FSU of Seminoles as anything less that respectful, mutually beneficial, and positive. But I'm familiar with FSU because GT plays them ... well .... they did before the ACC expanded anyway. I plead total ignorance to W&M's use of Tribe and how it is viewed by the alumni, fans, students, etc.

So, sooner or later I'm going to get around to redoing branding here. Do y'all wanna keep the name or do we want to think about a change? Reply on this thread and give me your two cents. There are no wrong answers, but please be respectful even if your argument is passionate. I'm mainly looking to see if there's an existing clear consensus here one way or the other.
