RE: What if the ASUN had mirror membership?
I'm taking a break from working on a letter of recommendation for a student, so I am resurrecting this thread with the following rules:

1. I'm trying to build the best basketball conference I can, but fanbase is something of a consideration as well.
2. No P5 teams allowed because that makes it too easy.
3. I'm building an 11-team league that includes a counterpart for all 11 ASUN teams not currently committed to leaving (including Austin Peay).

Bellarmine-->Murray State
Eastern Kentucky--> Western Kentucky
Central Arkansas--> Arkansas State
Lipscomb--> Memphis
Austin Peay--> MTSU (Chattanooga was tempting here)
North Alabama-->UAB (Jacksonville State???)
Jacksonville--> FIU
FGCU--> USF
Stetson--> FAU
North Florida--> Florida A&M
Kennesaw State-->Georgia State

It's worth noting that this would be a rock solid FBS football league as well except for FCS Murray and Florida A&M. I did not include UCF due to their coming departure for the Big 12.
