Some schools reject doing home to home sequences, or the home stadium of a participant is viewed as inadequate for certain opponents and another venue is offered as part of a final deal.

The Bank of America stadium in Charlotte was a way to get a non-conference game with South Carolina and a NC school together regularly.

Both opponents may view there is no home field advantage for either.

I have mixed views on this. For example, for the GA-FLA game, Jacksonville (in FLA) gets a yearly boost in spending at hotels, restaurants, convenience stores, etc
Yet, UGA fans in south Georgia and north Florida have convenient travel to make a game. The cocktail party is a special characterization and atmosphere.

I know we have one on the book for 2023, but I pray that we don't schedule any more of these Charlotte games. I've been to every single one and they've all been pretty dreadful.
