2019-2020 JMU MBB Season Predictions
Thought I'd start a thread on this. The pre-season magazines are out.

Blue Ribbon College Yearbook has JMU 6th with Matt Lewis as 1st team CAA.

Mettlen shared his CAA pre season ballot and had JMU 5th. A lot of folks are high on Delaware this year as they are a popular pick for 3rd.

This is buoyed by 3 transfers into the program and looking good on a pre season Bahamas Trip.

I think folks are putting a little too much on that and not enough on team cohesion (they also lost Horton and their big Carter but I guess the Nova transfer Painter can more than make up for that however he may not be eligible til December). Blue Ribbon has Northeastern #1 which again I think they lost a lot to be in that spot.

The way I look at it is the CAA has tiers Hofstra Northeastern and COC have proven themselves to be solid mid major programs so even with the graduations they will be heard from and tough to displace in the top 3.

That said, my prediction is that the Dukes crack the top 4 and are the team that actually surprises for 3rd (not the Blue Hens).
