Of course, FSU ran him off kindly because of his train wreck handling of the football building. It was so bad that basically fired him on the spot. When the NCAA bailed him out (nothing says competent like NCAA right?) FSU publiclly admitted he left a train wreck behind with the finances and other areas (see social media department highlighted for embarrassments in Wall Street Journal article).
