No they aren't, the revenues aren't there. At best the Big 12 will lose a few members and the top half of the AAC will join up with the bottom half of the Big 12 in a southern/plains states focused league. The jump to the ACC or B1G isn't happening.

If the PAC wants to be viable, yes, yes they will. Currently three of the 5 are at 14 and struggling to keep teams happy with rivals being separated. Going to 16 means two 8 team divisions which sounds a lot like the ol Big 8, PAC 8, SWC type conferences, while maintaining market share and power structure. The PAC can also take the longhorn network. Texas and three others (who is irrelevant the PAC needs Texas) leaving for the PAC will start a frenzy. WV and OU are likely headed to the SEC which gives them a tight complete footprint and allows them to restructure into old rivalry set ups. Missouri and Kansas to the B1G means TCU/Texas Tech to the SEC. That leaves four teams from the big 12 none of.which are viable to the ACC, where are they getting their plus 1 to match with ND who they will need like the PAC needs Texas?

Notre Dame just made the CFP as an independent and has more money than God. Any discussed changes to the CFP structure have been with an eye on making it more accessible, not less. They're not joining a conference anytime soon. The Big 12 may get poached, but that's going to be a contraction of the monied club, not an expansion. The resulting conference of leftovers and call-ups will fill the role the AAC currently does, not cash $30 million disbursements of their own.
