In the past, I questioned whether Las Vegas was the best place for the WAC tournament; playing in a more than half empty arena. However, with GCU gaining its tournament eligibility in recent years and the addition of Cal Baptist (less than 4 hours from Las Vegas) and now Dixie State (less than two hours away from Las Vegas) Las Vegas is the obvious choice for the WAC tournament.
