Week 1 Impressions of CUSA Teams
It's always hard to judge teams after week one, but I was surprised by a few of the CUSA games.

FAU - I didn't expect to see a close game, but the difference was a bit higher than expected. FAU may still be the team to beat in the east, but yesterday was ugly for them.

Old Dominion - was surprised at the margin of victory for Liberty. Either ODU was over rated or Liberty is much better than forecasted.

MTSU - not as competitive as expected against Vandy

Louisiana Tech - I know USA is under a coaching transistion, but La Tech looked pretty good

North Texas - see La Tech comment

The two best looking teams yesterday both play in the west, which makes it tougher for UAB. Haven't seen SMiss yet, but UAB's main challenge looks to be against La Tech and N Texas. Based on limited data, I think the blazers stand a good chance in competing for the conference title. The blazers demonstrated last year they can win at home. Anxious to see how y'all play next week on the road.

What are your impressions about the CUSA games?
