I don't think the committee is essential, but what it really sounds like is we need to wipe the slate clean and start with 100 new senators.

Perdue's idea to cut it to 4 bills is the a horrible idea. With 12, you are looking at specific areas. With 4, its just more horse-trading and manipulation.
