Echles is closed today because they're working on water pipes in the area.

This is all work to relocate utility lines to prep for the bridge, parking garage, and rec center.

Apparently the parking garage is the first phase of the project. Not sure when thenlndbridfe fits into the timeline but supposedly the schedule calls for April 2019 to be the start of construction on the new rec center. Will be 75,000 sq ft of new space for a total of 225,000 sq ft once combined with the renovation of the existing center.

We need Jamammy to give us a current update on the situation, with pics if possible.

Hell, he might be able to take pics from his front porch.

Basically every street on the south side of the tracks is covered in steel plates.

Some open holes here and there.

A bunch of prep work it seems.

The entrance/exit to South Campus on Getwell is also getting revamped.

Maybe you can get you old buddy to take some pictures the next time he drives by your house?
