Cullop certainly doesn't mind playing a power forward who is 5'9" (Lecretia Smith) or 5'10" (Sarah St. Fort). As far as going up against players six inches taller than she is, that assumes that she would be playing the center position, which is not what I would expect. MAC power forwards generally are around 5'10" to 6'0". All that being said, I've never seen this girl play. I'm impressed, though, by her stats and by the fact that she is DII player of the year, and I am not really concerned about her height. Remember BG's Kadie Hempfling posting us up at will in our game against them this year? She's 5'9".

I suppose having her as a walk-on is ideal if she's willing to do that. Then we can have a roster of 16. (Seems like way more than enough, but this year our 15-player roster dwindled down to 10 by season's end.) I just hope that Mikonowicz is willing to come under those circumstances and that she gets a fair shot against the scholarship players.
