Prewitt, Dixon, Tarpey, Cohn, Sheldon and Burchfield have at some point lead (or tied for the lead in Sheldon's case) the team in scoring in at least one game. This seemed to be a high number and a testament to the team's ability to take what the opponent gives them. For comparison I checked ODU's stats and they have three players who have lead in scoring, with their guard, Trey Freeman, leading in about two thirds of their games. I could see Malinowski getting hot one game and making it seven players. I think having this many guys willing to shoulder the scoring load bodes well for the CAA tournament.

I also believe that we have had six different players score at least 20 points in a game. I wonder if that has ever happened in Tribe basketball history?

Nice, I had not picked up on that. It also disproves the meme that all WM does is pass around the perimeter looking to lob up a three. Burchfield excepted, of course, but I'm fine with that!
