Money does talk, but it's the conferences that are the ones that have to listen. If an expanding playoff can occur within the conference structure then it will happen. But not even ESPN has enough money to get the P5 conferences and their affiliated bowls to agree to a 16 team playoff. To say nothing to the legal ramifications of an expanding field that excludes the G5.
