It's not hard to get those results when you have a handful of posters constantly taking every jab possible at LU. Every election is basically won by who can be the most negative. There's some on here that win hands down.

Ever step back and take a look at the mirror and ask yourself why so many take so many jabs? Or are you the type that just assumes there must be something wrong with everyone else?

Pros:
You guys have a bunch of money/facilities and fit the footprint for an East travel partner. TV station

Cons:
There are no playoff appearances in Football. Outside of Curry's time your basketball is suspect. Your online program is well documented to be questioned by many(got that from your own fan on flamefans.com). Your a private school trying to join up with 11 publics. Jerry Sr. the founder of the University is one of the most controversial public figure of the last few decades. Tailgating wont be allowed by visiting teams. Don't bring a good media market(Roanoke is VT territory).

Are you a fit somewhere? Maybe one day with more like minded Schools and when you've accomplished more athletically. Most Sunbelt alums outside of App and GS hadn't even heard of LU before rumors started leaking. Most around the county outside of the southeast think of it as a Devry or Phoenix as you have eerily similar commercials online and on TV. So a bit of image rehab in that department is probably necessary as well.

Most Sun Belt fans had never heard of App until they beat Michigan. Lets not pretend that FBS fans watch FCS football. The majority of them don't.

I would bet the men of Troy know us. Also any team in Alabama probably saw us almost beat Auburn. Also hung tough with LSU. Much more of a household name than a smaller private school with no marquee wins or NC's in major sports. Arkansas State probably had no clue as we are far apart and we never played the Razorbacks in recent history.

Troy might...but Troy grads don't represent the majority of SBC grads. At least I would hope they don't.
