RE: MAC WBB 2022-23 Season Thread
Ohio wins in Dayton 52-51. Double double for Felder. Weird start to the game though. As UD was called for an Administrative Technical before the game started. Ohio made the FT to take a 1-0 lead before the tip.
Per another poster on the Ohio board “The Dayton pregame radio show said the administrative tech was called because Dayton had 3 shot clock lights on their backboards. According to the announcer, a recent rule change mandated that schools have only one light, but Dayton didn't get the word, and couldn't make the change before game time.”

In a battle of unbeatens in Ypsilanti, Eastern moved to 5-0 and North Dakota State dropped to 6-1. It was a close game for 29 minutes, then the Eagles went on a long roll and ended up winning 73 to 55.

That win looks a little less good today, after NDSU lost to a previously-winless CMU team, that was without their best player in Jahari Smith. But, EMU is certainly surprising on the upside so far this year.
Meanwhile, NIU is surprising on the good fortune side, as they have now won three games on last second buckets, including today over previously-unbeaten EIU. May want to save some of that heroics for MAC play.

Missouri State, Dayton, Cincy, UTA, and PSU are down from last season. It's a heck of a scheduling job, just not gona pan out for anything but Quad 2s and 3s most likely.
Duke and Michigan remain strong opponents. Nabbing the Wolverines may be the win UT needs for an at large if they don't lost more than 5 or 6 overall.

Yes, MSU and Dayton's NETs are way down, but Penn St's NET is actually improved by 70 points compared to last year's. Cincinnati's is way up too.
