I think some of that is people still being afraid of COVID and not wanting to be in large crowds although obviously most people have gotten past that.

Nonetheless, the trend continues downward and the need to schedule better games marches on.

Yes, a bit. But most of it is thanks to ROKU I can enjoy the comfort of my own home and watch every game (home and away) without $5 dollar cokes, crappy build it yourself hotdogs, having to spend another $5 to protect my ancient boney butt because they outlawed personal stadium cushions, and get better a better view on my 54" HD without the piped in music. And, I don't need binoculars to see the shapeliness of cheerleaders and majorettes!

As the fans discover these joys, at a fraction of the cost the extra $2300 can take them and their honey to Gulf Shores or to see the grandkids, and without watching ungrateful a-holes kneeling for the anthem!

There was definitely a time to kneel in order to provoke much needed change, but that time has more than passed. The English Premiere League, soccer league, and other similar leagues, will take a knee right before kickoff, not even 30 seconds, to show solidarity and continued awareness for the cause while not offending the national anthem. It would be nice to see American football adopt something similar.

Disappointed in the ACC numbers as they seemed to the most competitive in years.

1. I don't think kneeling for an anthem of a nation that ended slavery is appropriate ever, and that goes for any citizen for any reason.

2. The ACC has Bou coup problems. They are 4th in revenue, 5th in attendance and has a lower winning % against OOC schools than the AAC. And now hoops are sagging. I call that trouble when your next new contract isn't happening until 2036 and past the influence of college sports loving Boomers.

1. Your opinion is respected.

2. Besides Norte Dame joining in full, the conference will get picked about circa 2036 if not sooner. They have a conference network, content work broadcasting nationally on over the air channels, but they are a basketball conference that’s getting eaten alive in a pointy ball world.

If the SEC creates a new division that can void the traditional Grant of Rights that binds the current BCS schools with the implementation of NIL, then the ACC falls apart in the next couple of seasons.

Getting to the disability section is even a hassle. Traffic and parking gets aggrevating. Maybe it is the times, one can see people are more selfish, impatient, and rude. I avoid crowds nowadays.
Agree, I can see better on the wide-screen TV.
I also concur there could be improvements in matchups across the board. Realignment and scheduling can improve that if the will is there.
The ACC is a mixed bag. While they have their couple of powers in football and usually a handful or so of basketball elite schools, there is a splintering in focus and priorities, and a considerable diversity in school types, resources, and fan support that can vary based on one sport dependency.
