I am not saying that they are going to do this, but I would assume that simply adding indoor track would be really easy.

You know this is strange that Chicago State doing a study to move and West Texas A&M's AD is now singing the same tune as Tarleton State about D1, and slamming D2 leadership after some years on not going to D1. There seems to be smoke that the WAC is talking to West Texas A&M now. Do you think that Chicago State announced that they are leaving the WAC and A&M gets invited the day after?

Other than being a cheap add for a potential D1 move, there is no incentive for them to add the sport. In the West Region; it is a GNAC-sponsored sport with 9 teams, the PWC has 3 CA members who sponsor the sport as Independents, and no one in the CCAA has the sport although 6 members have women's indoor track (including Cal State Los Angeles).

I guess that is what I was trying to say, if they wanted to move to DI, Men's indoor track would be the obvious choice. I guess it CS-LA ever announces they are adding that sport, it might be precursor to other moves.

Sorry, I realized that I might have derailed this thread. I am sorry for that.

What smoke are you talking about? Get the heck out of here with your foolishness. Go find another board to troll.
