Any mention of his W&M commitment deleted on Twitter. I'd guess one side or the other got cold feet. Also recent follows from Drake coaches and the recruiting coordinator from WV Wesleyan. No clue what's going on.

By my accounting, looks like Southern Mississippi, Samford, Monmouth, Merrimack, W&M, Robert Morris, & VMI. In a video interview a month ago, he claimed offers from Southern Miss, VMI, W&M, & a PWO from Wake Forest. I have to think his selection will come from that top 3.

We are getting a lot of strike outs lately on recruiting. I don't sweat it too much because I think we will ultimately find the right fits. Next up possibly? Donovan Everette and his commitment Saturday.

Will Healy, the Charlotte head coach, is a monster recruiter and seems like a solid Xs and Os guy. Took Austin Peay from 0-11 to 8-4 in 1 season and they had one of the highest ranked FCS classes.

Being in a major metro area I think UNCC will become a consistent bowl program under his tenure - in 2019 they made their first one in program history, Healy's first year there.

I'd wanted us to try and get him post Laycock, but he probably had bigger ambitions. UNCC is paying him 700k, and I'd be surprised if Healy lasts more than 3 or 4 years there before moving up.
