UMKC was up 69-66 in the final seconds vs. EWU when Jesse Hunt for the Eagles made a game tying three to send the game to overtime where the Roos were outscored 17-10. Final score 87-80. Xavier Bishop showed why he was a preseason All-WAC pick as he had 28 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists. Brandon McKissic, Tony Jackson, and DeMarco Smith all are out currently. Potential All-WAC guard McKissic should be back this week vs. Drake.

I'm impressed with the turn around Umkc has made since the season started. They lost a lot from last year and started with a brutal schedule, but seem to have turned it around and saving what could have been a rough season.
