RE: Pro Dukes
Well despite what I thought was solid play from Marlowe, he has been released and the Bills have signed Derek Anderson (QB). I'm a lifelong Bills fan that has tried to stop liking them many times. Maybe this will be the straw that breaks the camels back.

F%#$ Buffalo. They deserve their 4 Super Bowl loses and their countless losing seasons.

RE: Pro Dukes
I imagine Dean will clear the waivers tomorrow morning and will resign to the Bill's practice squad. McDermott has been with Dean for the better part of 3.5 years now and I don't think McDermott is giving up on him. Outside of liking Dean, they have two safeties that are not 100%. I doubt another team is going to pick Dean up as he would have to join the active roster and I'm guessing the Bills are thinking that will be the case as well.

Edit: Just thinking about this, and in an attempt to put a positive spin on a sh!tty situation; I'm guessing Dean got a $35+k weekly raise this past week. I'm not positive how it all works but I'm guessing Dean is considered a 3rd year player (assuming you have to be on the active roster for just 1 week), meaning his salary minimum is $705k. Payable over 16 game ~$44k compared to practice squad minimum of $8k. I got to think his contract had incentives for making active roster, starting, etc. too but probably marginal, no idea.

I believe anyone signed to the 53 off of practice squad is gauranteed at least 2 “game” checks regardless of their game action or time on the 53 roster. So, he should get two of those nice checks.

Packers just traded Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix to the Redskins. Does this open a slot for Raven for PT?

Could be. Currently there is no one listed as the starter on the depth chart, but Jermaine Whitehead is listed in front of Raven and has started two games already this season.

He should at least get some more rotations and then it is up to his performances.

Yep. Too little too late for Philly I think. The first goal by the Pigeons was a thing of beauty.

How Rashard Davis isn't on an active roster and contributing is beyond me, so much speed, talent and by all accounts an outstanding individual. Oh and hes a National Champion and a Super Bowl Champion.

Simply put--If NFL coaches thought he could contribute at the NFL level, he'd be on an active roster. Lots of guys on practice squads throughout the league with speed, talent, and great character..

Also, him being a FCS champion and a Practice Squad SB champ has no bearing on him making a roster..nor should it.
