Watching the Packers/Titans Game. A Packers safety, Jermaine Whitehead was injured. Raven Greene with at least one tackle already.

Also watching the Bears game, Daniel Brown just had a really nice catch and run, almost a touchdown!

3 catches for 70 yards for Daniel Brown.

Davis has a catch, 4 KO returns and a punt return for the world champion Iggles so far.

Dean Marlowe with 1 solo and 1 assisted tackle.

He has great size and length and I think works out great.

But honestly I was very unimpressed with his on field play as a senior at JMU. Hey size matters and they don't grow that many human beings that large with quick feet so he gets a lot of chances to impress.

Off-topic...Skins 2nd round draft pick, RB out of LSU, Derrius Guice, is out for the season. Tore a knee ligament in last night's preseason opener at New England.

Talk about terribly bad luck. Ugh.

Terrific news. Good luck to Simeyon. Of all our departed defenders, I'll guesstimate that he will be the one we miss the most this upcoming season (read: hardest to replace in terms of production/threat). Opposing offenses knew where he lined up on every play.

Congrats to Sim on singing with the Bengals. He was far and away our best player last year in Frisco, if we win, he would've gotten the MVP. He's a beast, hope he sticks up there.

Yeah, but apparently some local Eagles reporter was predicting doom for Rashard due to his poor punt return (got caught running backwards trying to make something happen). He seems to have had a great camp and the coaches seem to like him. Hope he sticks.

From what I've read, Rashard and Daniel Brown have been both doing really well. They both appear to have NFL talent, the issue is they're both competing at very deep positions for their respective teams. The irony is, is they flipped teams they'd probably have a better chance of making their squads (the Bears are struggling at WR, and the Bears just signed a former Eagles TE who is now ahead of Daniel on the depth chart).

I didn't see the game but Raven had 3 solo tackles against the Steelers. Anyone watch how he's doing?

I am still pissed that the Ravens let him go and kept that loser Perriman.

Two bad punt returns from Rashard. The word in Philly was very positive for Rashard in the first week+ of camp, and then he tailed off. I agree - was trying to do too much on punt returns last night. His competition for WR5 and WR6 had more opportunities to show out and I think he was trying to hard to make something happen.

Even after a great first week+ showing, he was still even odds at best making the 53 man. Now I would say he is a long shot. I do think the Eagles add him to the practice squad though. The staff reportedly really likes him.
